The spread of malware delivered via e-mail has forced me to disable transfer of any e-mail containig ZIP archives, i.e. files ending with  7z or .zip as well as any of the filename endings indicating Microsoft Office documents (.doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx and so on) or files that can be executed on a Microsoft Operating system (.exe, .js and others).

If you need to transfer a file with such a name ending to me, please either

• consider changing the filename ending, for example, to .xxx (in your email explaining what type the file you are transferring actually has so that i can restore it) or
• contact me, so i can supply you with alternative methods of file transfer.

Die Verbreitung von Schadsoftware hat uns dazu gezwungen, jede eingehende E-Mail abzuweisen, die ZIP-Archive, Microsoft-Office-Dokumente oder unter Microsoft Windows ausführbare Dateien im Anhang enthält, das heisst, Dateien, die unter anderem mit .zip, .doc, .docx, .exe und .js enden.

Wenn es für Sie erforderlich ist, mir eine solche Datei zu senden, können Sie wie folgt vorgehen:

• Bennen Sie die Datei so um, dass sie eine Dateinamens-Endung von .xxx hat und senden Sie diese als E-Mail-Anhang. Schreiben Sie in der E-Mail, um was für eine Datei es sich tatsächlich handelt, so dass wir sie wiederherstellen können, oder
• kontaktieren Sie mich, so dass ich Ihnen eine andere Möglichkeit zur Datei-Übertragung zur Verfügung stellen kann.
